Role: Business Development Manager
Location: London
Salary: up to £45.000 basic + benefits

Influencing the commercial world since the 19th century our client is advising governments, business leaders and regulators on important economic and business issues helping them build informed commercial strategies, policies and spot future opportunities.

Business Development Manager: The Role

To succeed in this role you will need to have experience in and demonstrate a B2B consultative sales approach, and have a proven ability to sell products and bespoke services in a C- suite client-driven and target focused environment.

• Research, prospect and target new clients within our target markets (e.g. FTSE 350) with the aim of securing meetings to introduce our products and services
• Manage new enquiries from receipt of lead through to close of sale
• Once a client is established, secure and increase repeat business year on year
• Strive to become a trusted adviser' to clients whilst spotting opportunities for revenue growth within the account

Business Development Manager: The Person

• Good academic background coupled with selling and influencing skills
• Previous consultative sales experience
• Experience working and interacting with C-Suite professionals
• Interest or experience in business and finance is beneficial to understand complex issues and spot opportunities
• Proven project/time management skills
• Good interpersonal/influencing skills
• Ability to adapt and work with a variety of different personalities
• Willing to work well as part of a team, with a flexible, can do attitude
• Good IT skills
