Are you looking for a Business Manager opportunity based in Lancaster?

Do you want to work in a popular and bustling Community Primary School?

Do you have excellent communication skills?

Are you proficient with SIMS and Excel?

If yes, then this may be the role for you!

A primary school in Lancaster are looking to appoint a School Business Manager (grade8) to start in March 2019. The successful applicant will have previous schools experience (including HR, facilities, finance, governance, pupil record keeping etc), be proficient in SIMS and ParentPay and ideally hold an enhanced DBS on the update service.

The role will involve assisting with the day to day administration and managing an extremely busy school office (including 2 staff).

The successful applicant will hold a key role within the school and will be responsible for completing tasks that ensure a smooth and professional operation.

This is a full-time role (8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Friday) until Easter with potential to go permanent for the right applicant.

Responsibilities of the role will include
Sound experience of providing excellent financial and administrative services

Experience of maintaining accurate computerised records and systems

Be the first point of contact for students, staff and visitors
Use of school software packages including ParentPay and SIMS or similar education MIS systems

Computer literate

Requirements
High level of office management and administration skills in a school setting

Knowledge of procurement, ordering, processing invoices etc

Experience handling data and data protection regulations
Clear and confident communication skills both verbally and written form

Highly presentable
Enhanced DBS

Working towards CSBM or equivalent qualification
