Responsibilities of the role include:
Adhering to the school's policies and procedures
Planning and preparation of work
Setting appropriate, regular homework
Providing pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and support
Meeting with pupils' parents to discuss their academic progress at parents' evenings
To deal sensitively with parents' concerns, should they arise
Requirements of the candidate:
You will need to be a UK Newly Qualified Teacher
Be able to demonstrate the ability to raise standards
Possessing effective classroom management strategies
Having a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Should you not be a driver, the school is situated amongst a variety of bus routes, including those from neighbouring Boroughs within East London.
