You will be assisting the growing engineering team by reviewing the mandate and preparing a methodology, scope, programme and resource estimate for implementing the design stage of the project. You will be responsible for:Produce Civil design layouts which are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned effectivelyEnsure that standard practices are utilisedProvide estimates for proposals departmentEnsure co-ordination of designs with all other disciplines in order to ensure that the design processes carried out on the contract are co-ordinated for the benefit of the contract as a wholeEnsure designs take account of environmental issuesEnsure that design takes full regard of all health and safety requirementsWork to procedures and processes to ensure the continuing development of the departmentMonitor and review the procedures and processesWrite, update and monitor efficient procedures Qualifications/background:Confident using MS office suite packageConfident in producing technical sketching to the British Standards and or EurocodeCapable at report writing skills and data analysis capabilitiesCompetent in AutoCAD, Revit, TEDDS by Tecla, Staad Pro, Robot and CIVIL3D etc.Package includes A competitive salary24 days holiday (increasing with service) + bank holidaysChristmas shutdownThe opportunity to buy further holidaysFree onsite parkingPension Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
