Are you an experienced Children's Home Manager who is looking to work for a developing organisation? Are you looking for a role in the Dewsbury area?

Based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, this is a relatively new children's home, so it will give you a chance to make your mark, as well as motivate and develop your team to support the young people in a therapeutic and enriching way

Salary is negotiable for the right candidate, and you will be offered on-going training and development

The Role:

- Managing a home for children with emotional and behavioural problems (EBD)
- To ensure that the home meets the standards and expectations of its Statement of Purpose
- To safeguard and promote welfare of children and to ensure that quality of care is consistent with National Minimum Standards
- To be responsible and in charge of all child protection cases
- Recruiting staff
- Supporting children in a place they can call home and feel safe
- Guiding staff with development
- Staff supervision

The Successful Candidate:

- NVQ Level 5 in Children and Young People (desirable)
- Proven background of working with children with emotional and behavioural issues or complex needs
- Committed to making a difference to peoples lives
- Proven track record either as a Children's Home Manager
