Are you looking for a role to support and care for children? Are you looking to be the best you can be in your role? You will be supporting children and young adults with Asperger's Sydrome or other associated difficulties on the Autistic Spectrum in a residential and school setting. The location is set in the serene and beautiful countryside of the New Forest close to the coast. 38-52 weeks of the year.

Responsibilities:



* Children aged between 7-19
* Within this role you will offer a flexible learning approach tailored to each young person
* Planning and participating in activities with the children and young adults to further their development
* You will be teaching young people self-management by supporting their strengths and managing their difficulties
* Provide enhanced care backed up by our training programs
* Create positive and valuable relationships with the young people in your care
* Know and follow each young persons care plan and amend as required to reflect their changing needs
* To challenge unacceptable behaviour and reward acceptable behaviour with trained and professional techniques

Requirements:



* Excellent communication skills
* Work well within a team
* An energetic personality to provide stimulating and varied lifestyle for the children
* Full UK driving licence preffered
* Must be 18 years old or over
* Required to meet the minimum requirements of a DBS check
