Job Purpose -
* Interact and care for young people on a 1-1 or 2-1 basis
* Encouraging them to engage and enjoy activities specifically designed to suit their needs
* Taking part in activities- they are always open to new ideas so are happy to take suggestions
* Be a consistent and caring role model
* Hand to hand prompting of personal care
* Supporting children to manage their behaviour using various techniques
* Using skills and approved approaches learning during training provided
* Report writing and hand overs

Experience -
* Being able to engage and interact with the children is key!
* Understanding of challenging behaviour
* Must be able to work long days or waking nights
* Must have a can do, positive attitude
* Drivers are preferred for their own ease of getting to the school
* Excellent communication skills required
