job description

Civils Manager Required in Amesbury.

Working for a reputable civils subcontractor on a 30 million pound residential project. The job will be a temporary contract for about 12 months. You will be in charge of the day today running of the civils works, you will have to report into the contracts manager with an update on progress on a daily basis.

You will be dealing with the architect, client and all sub contractors on the works, you will be responsible for organisation of all staff plant and heath and safety on site.

You must have a civils background, this works is land remediation, large earth movements, 278 works and foundations up to dcp.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The role will include site based management

Office paperwork and computer work

Overall supervision of the workforce on site

Being responsible for implementing health and safety, compiling detailed reports and task briefs

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience working on large projects

SMSTS / SSSTS

CSCS Card

First Aid

The ability to run a team effectively
