    Randstad have the pleasure to present this excellent opportunity for a Classroom Support Assistant with flexible full-time and part-time working available, based near the village of Cranleigh, Surrey. This fantastic School has exciting opportunities for positive and resilient individuals to work with pupils with a diagnosis of autism, of varying ages and abilities. You will have the chance to play a significant role in the daily care and development of each child, while also developing your own career with personal growth opportunities.

    £17,510 FTE based on 34.75 hours You will also receive a £1,000 bonus upon joining Hours Full and part time working is available between Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 4.00pm (minimum of 10.00am - 2.00pm on any day worked) Annual Leave Term time working only - 44 days school holiday plus Bank Holidays.

    This role involves
    * Supporting morning and lunch break duties, supervising play or snacks
    * Assisting educational trips from horse-riding to swimming
    * Preparing materials for lessons and pupil programmes
    * Supporting academic progress, working alongside our teaching team

    * Positive, enthusiastic and fun
    * Happy to lend a hand wherever needed
    * Caring and nurturing
    * Comfortable supporting others with personal/intimate care (toileting, feeding)
    * Resilient when faced with behaviours that challenge
    * Able to reach us (a driver's licence or access to a lift is necessary due to our remote location)
    * Formal experience is not essential as we are committed to staff development and will help you to develop skills and expertise you need
