Are you looking to extend your classroom experience before deciding on a career in education? Are you a Teaching Assistant wanting to return to work after a period away from the classroom? Or, are you recently qualified and looking for a role that provides a better work life balance than a permanent position allows?
I am currently working with a selection of Schools across Preston, Leyland and Chorley that are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to provide classroom support in what I am sure will be a busy time when Schools return. The role of a Teaching Assistant is very rewarding and at times can be challenging, you will need to be the type of individual who is able to motivate and engage struggling pupils. Provide support to smaller groups with 1:1 support and assist the Teacher in engaging the class as a whole.
Roles will vary from ad- hoc day to day cover, to long term positions depending on the School's need. A successful candidate will need to be able to start as soon as possible, when School's return.
At Randstad we appreciate the uncertainty of the current situation, but we are continuing to recruit on behalf of our schools during this period to ensure they have the support they need when School's return. We are anticipating unprecedented demand on the reopening of our schools, so if you would like to be in the best position for work, then we would be interested to hear from you.
