Then look no further- We're currently offering an opportunity to work Monday - Thursday at a world class manufacturing plant in Larne. This way, you can enjoy both the summer and your job whilst still earning a fantastic rate of pay.

Working Hours

* You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday

You will be working with an experienced team working together to produce high quality, world renowned machinery for the construction industry.

Your responsibilities

* Set up and operate computer numerically controlled CNC metalworking machines where size, shape, degree of angle and size of radius are fully controlled by encoded instruction.
* Laser cutting machines, punch presses to cut plate steel to size, presses to form angles or radii and performs bending on steel plate.
* Override machine functions and adjust offsets as required.
* Perform various operations on sheet metal parts such as forming, laser cutting, counter-boring, reaming, tapping and punching. Interpret machining programmes, tool layouts, encoded instruction and prints as necessary to operate machines.
* Operate machine manually to perform rework, missed operations or complete machining of parts.
* Self-inspection of work to required standard from supplied prints.
* Compliance with safety and quality standards. C
* Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.
* Display behaviour and conduct fitting with our Values in Action.
* Train other employees if and when required.
* Any other appropriate duties.

To be successful you will have:

* CNC experience (NVQ Level 3 qualification in Welding, Engineering or equivalent)
* Good attention to detail
* A good work ethic and attendance rate
* An awareness and commitment to the highest standard of health and safety and quality
* Previous experience in an engineering/ manufacturing environment (preferable)
