Commercial Assistant

Commercial Assistant - Darlington - Immediate start - 3-6 months contract

Are you a proven and motivated Administrator seeking work in the Darlington area?

Do you have a keen eye for detail and looking to work with a market leading company?

Our leading Construction client based in Darlington is seeking a proven Administrator to join the IT team as a Commercial Assistant. Working as part of the National IT support team, you will help ensure the business remains online and has all relevant IT equipment by deployment of IT equipment and materials.

This role would suit a customer focused Administrator who is highly organised and able to plan ahead with workloads



* Immediate start
* Full time (37.5hrs per week)
* Long term contract (min 3-6 months and beyond)
* £11-£13ph + Holiday pay (depending on experience)
* Excellent company and working environment

Duties Include:



* General administration duties; invoicing processing, POs, reporting and new circuits
* Log and process information/equipment requests efficiently and professionally
* Maintain accuracy, quality and consistency of business data
* To provide cover for various areas when needed such as Switchboard
* Liaise and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service delivery
* To work closely with internal sites and business units to understand requirements and deliver services as agreed.
* To liaise with suppliers to ensure quality and timeliness of deliveries of products and services appropriate to business needs and agreed SLAs
* An effective contribution to IT project and service delivery work commensurate with other responsibilities and commitments.

Experience needed:



* Customer focused
* Good telephone skills/good customer service skills
* Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
* PC-literate and self-sufficient in the Microsoft 'Office' suite of products
* Self-motivated and able to work with minimum direct supervision
* Proven organisational and administration skills
* Experience in planning workloads and meeting deadlines
* Flexible on working hours if needed
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Construction industry and/or of the deployment of IT would be an advantage
