Commercial Gas / Heating Engineer

£29,000 - £31,000


* Working for a reputable FM company as a permanent, valued member of staff
* Company Van for business use
* Monday to Friday 40 hours (8:30am - 4:30pm)
* Overtime as per needs of the business
* On-call rota = Week on / Week off
* Hours in excess of 40 are paid at 'time and a half'
* Double-time is for Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday
* PPE and Uniform Provided


* Carry out all planned routine servicing to all aspects of building services equipment
* Reactive attendance to serve the portfolio of managed properties throughout the North East
* Reporting directly to the Building Services Manager
* Duties include Boiler and Heating servicing mainly to commercial properties and a small amount of Domestic properties
* Small amount of install work of both pipework and heating appliances
* Keeping site file record up to date in relation to daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks.

About You

* As there is both Commercial and Domestic work involved, the ideal candidate will hold both tickets: CCN1, CENWAT,CKR1,CPA1HTR1 Domestic gas certificates and CDGA1,CIGA1,CODNC01 CORT1 Commercial as a minimum
* NVQ level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject
* 17th Edition Wiring Regulations are highly desirable and if this certification is held a higher salary may be awarded.
* The ideal candidate will reside in the Sunderland/ Durham/ North Tyneside area would be an ideal fit with the geographical area, however, this is not essential if you are willing to travel.
