Are you looking for an Air Conditioning Commissioning Engineer position? We have a new position for you.
Location: Predominantly London & South East, occasional working away (UK & abroad) will be required

Contract Type: Permanent

The company brief:

One of the UK's premium commercial developers who currently build out commercial developments plots valued from £200,000 - £1.2 million across smaller bespoke developments and large scale multi-phase schemes are experiencing a large increase in output over the coming months and the need has arisen to recruit for an Air Conditioning Engineer/Air Conditioning Technical Engineer with immediate effect.

About you and the projects you will be working on:

You will be organised, customer service focused and will work mainly at sites across London, South and South East England and occasional working away from home including abroad. You will be responsible for delivering planned, reactive service and maintenance solutions for clients in various environments, including: office, education, retail and leisure markets.

Your new role:

As an Air Conditioning Commissioning Engineer working directly for the developer you will be working closely with the management team. You will be key in contributing to the safe & on time delivery of projects throughout the South of England region and your role will involve:

* Undertake PPM works in line with SFG 20 and other industry guidelines as delegated by the helpdesk or line manager
* Working on a variety of equipment including air conditioning, chillers and ventilation
* Carry out any diagnostic analysis that the whole system may require
* To participate within an out of normal working hours emergency call out rota and be flexible outside of core working hours
* Carry out general maintenance and good housekeeping practises, and plant room cleaning to ensure that the life expectancy of all installed equipment is maximised
* To undertake a visual and practical inspection of installed equipment and submit a written validation/condition report including comments on quality of installation
* To undertake statutory testing duties as delegated and complete all works as per relevant industry guidelines

About you:

* NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration and air conditioning
* City Guilds 2079 Refrigerant handling required
* Excellent Air Conditioning knowledge. Chillers, VRF/VRV (Mitsubishi, Daikin and others)
* CSCS Card / ACRIB Skillcard
* IT Experience
* DBS checked or willing to be DBS checked (paid for by the company)
* Full, clean driving licence
