job description

Commissioning Engineer

Rate: £350-£370

Start: ASAP

Duration: 8 Months+

Responsibilities Include:

* Ensures equipment is FAT tested and snag free prior to arrival on site
* Responsible for input into the overall programme in relation to commissioning progress
* Writing commissioning plans & procedures
* Electrical conversant to 18th or any subsequent edition of the Electrical Regulations
* Demonstrated ability to understand the water and waste water treatment processes as a whole and commission in a structured manner
* FAT testing and management of close out of defects found
* Review electrical and/or mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, FDS documents, P&I documents and instigate required design change as and when necessary

Main Duties:

* Configuration of analytical equipment to process requirements
* Production and assessment of commissioning RAMS
* Supervision and inspection of sub-contractor installations
* Management of project installation and production of all relevant documentation to successfully close out project
* Co-ordinate and produce commissioning plans for approval, ensuring that all relative documentation is completed
* Undertake an electrical AP role subject to prior agreement and training

Qualifications:


* Experience on Water and Waste Water Process Engineering projects.
* Knowledge of commissioning chemical dosing equipment is advantageous
* HND
* CSCS card
* Water Hygiene card
