The Planning Officer would be responsible for the processing of Development Management matters within an area based or function based team including responsibility for the handling of complex pre-application advice,complex planning applications, appeals (Written Reps., Hearings and Public Inquires) and enforcement including negotiations with developers and other interested parties, securing financial and other community benefits through legal agreements. The role would also include providing advice and support to junior colleagues within the team as required and attending Planning Sub Committee where they would be required to present cases.
