Are you a committed Qualified Social Worker? Do you have a passion for providing first-class care in Adult Mental Health Services? We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Practitioner opportunity based within a Community Mental Health team in the Central Manchester area.

Responsibilities:

*To carry a caseload of a volume and complexity as designated by the supervisor
*To work with individuals, their carers and their families to develop a person-centred assessment of needs and risks and from that, to develop care plans that focus on maximising the individual's independence and autonomy
*Contributing to case discussions and multi-disciplinary meetings
*Ensure that the social care needs and welfare benefits entitlement of individuals in the community, or in hospital, are identified and met within the requirements of legislation and available resources

To be considered for the Social Work role ideally you will have:

*1-3 years experience of working within a mental health service
*Diploma/Degree in Social Work
*Registration with HCPC
*Evidence of working with a complex caseload
