The role comes with certain responsibilities:



* Liaising with a team of nurses at the start of each day
* Travelling and visiting patients in their homes
* Dealing with differing needs
* Providing attentive, high-quality care to patients


A community nurse role is a highly skilled position, demanding familiarity with:



* Insulins
* Compressions
* Palliative care
* Blood pressure
* Wound care
* Leg ulcer management
* Injections
