A fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Systems Manager who has experience of using IT packages for the scheduling and analysis of water and wastewater samples.
This role will see you manage a team of Compliance System Administrators to ensure that the IT systems and packages required for scheduling, sampling, analysis and reporting of all regulatory and operational water and wastewater quality is effectively supported. You will be managing all IT systems that are required for water and wastewater compliance, thus ensuring that the Company's statutory and regulatory responsibilities with regard to water and wastewater quality are met and regulatory risk to the business is managed effectively.
Job Responsibilities:Managing all IT systems and packages to ensure on-going high level of performance to enable the Water and Wastewater Compliance team to meet its regulatory and operational objectivesDesigning training and checking competence of Compliance Systems Administrators to continually develop colleagues to enable provision of system administrator support for all Compliance IT systems to the Quality Policy & Compliance team and wider business Managing internal and external relationships with regard to Water and Wastewater Compliance systems, including establishing and managing SLA's with service providers through regular performance reviewsKeeping up to date with current developments to ensure that the Compliance IT systems used remain fit for purpose and continue meet all regulatory and operational requirementAssisting both the Sampling Services Manager and the Analytical Services Manager in the selection, development and procurement of new IT systemsManaging projects to ensure delivery of any improvements or developments required. Tracking of KPIs and providing management reports on progress to meet project targets.Providing daily support (7 days a week) to the Compliance Team and wider business to ensure Compliance IT systems availability and effectiveness to enable regulatory obligations to be metManaging external service providers to ensure that work packages are delivered to ensure development projects are implemented to meet deadlines and budgetary requirementsResponsibility for the annual monitoring programme build for Regulatory Sampling for both water and wastewater

Essential Skills:Experience and Knowledge of the requirements of ISO 17025Minimum of 5 years experience managing staffEducated to degree level.
