Are you commercially minded and passionate about publishing? Do you have experience with Content Management? If so this could be the perfect role for you! An exciting new opportunity has arisen for someone looking for a challenging new role with excellent progression opportunities and an exciting and varied workload.

The role is responsible for leading content development across key portfolios from inception to publication and beyond. The role will involve establishing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and taking a user-focused approach to developing relevant and high quality content and delivering it in the most appropriate formats.

Responsibilities



* Create Business cases for new projects, provide financial analysis and forecasting
* Identify and source suitable authors, content contributions and reviewers
* Negotiate contracts and fees for authors and content creators
* Support Business Development activities
* Support the content development team
* Work closely with account management team to ensure client satisfaction
* Work with the marketing team on market research
* Follow the content development process
* Assist with content creation - including copyediting, copywriting, proofreading and HTML markup
* Manage the quality assurance of all content, working with user panels, quality assurance reviewers and key internal and external stakeholders
* Use effective project management techniques (e.g. agile or PRINCE2) to deliver content and products on time, on budget and to the required quality

Key Competencies & Experience



* Good understanding and insight into managing and delivering content
* Relevant publishing experience, preferably from a similar role as well as industry knowledge
* Keen understanding of content development, content management, multi media publishing and the opportunities of digital output
* Understanding of how to effectively monetise content and exploit the potential of publishing in all media
* Experience delivering evidence based-user focused content to tight deadlines
* Educated to degree Level
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills & interpersonal skills
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
* Negotiation skills
* A 'can do' and positive attitude
* Highlight organised and resourceful, strong planning skills and able to manage several projects at once
* Innovative, creative and strategic
* Self motivated and able to work with minimum or no supervision
* Strong attention for detail
