Our client, a local authority, is looking for a Streeworks Manager to join them on an interim basis Main purpose is to deliver the operational aspects of highways and network management services, including planned and reactive maintenance of the Councils highway assets, the operational aspects of street works and road works coordination and Permitting, management of winter maintenance, and contract management and administration of relevant delivery contracts available to the Service. Essential for the role:Proven experience of operational management and delivery of highways and transport services in a senior management position in a similarly large and complex organisationProven experience of managing operational delivery and implementing civil engineering highways and transport programmes and projectsProven experience of financial management and associated systems and processes and management of large Capital and Revenue budgets, financing arrangements and meeting both programme and time requirementsExperience of contract management and administration, particularly via NEC3 suite of contractsExperience of attending committee and public meetings and advising customers and elected Members on Highways and Transport matters Please contact us on 0203 680 0630Still searching?
