Are you a Contract Manager? Looking for a new challenge with a leading FM company based in Bournemouth? Then this could be the opportunity for you!

Randstad is currently working with a leading FM company who has a Permanent opportunity for a Contract Manager to join an expanding team. The role is offering an excellent salary and benefits package.

Job objectives and responsibilities



* To provide the client with professional, comprehensive engineering support across supported sites in across the client portfolio, in both maintenance and project works activities.
* To build a strong working relationship with both internal and external customers including contractors to ensure that all services are provided in a professional, timely and cost effective manner.
* To successfully manage and lead the contract teams
* To fully understand the clients expectations and be fully conversant with contract & specification documents, associated KPI's and ensure that services are organised to meet those expectations
* To be commercially and operationally responsible for the successful delivery of the contract.
* To manage and deliver project works associated with the contract up to a value as agreed within approval limits.
* Implement a positive health and safety culture

Person Specifications & Qualifications



* Holds relevant professional, technical or management qualifications, and/or has relevant experience
* Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems and the management of safe systems of work associated with the role and work environment.
* Able to undertake budget setting and demonstrate appropriate financial management
* Able to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively
* Seeks out and takes opportunities to learn new skills as part of personal professional development
* Leads by example in all role activities

Qualifications



* Knowledge of Health and Safety supported by IOSH qualification or equivalent - Desirable
* BTEC Higher National Diploma - desirable
* City and Guild/BTEC Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering Parts 1, 2 and 3 or similar - Essential
* 17th edition IEE Regulations - desirable
* City and Guild 2391 Inspection and Testing - desirable
* Apprenticeship or Equivalent - (desirable -with an electrical bias).
* Have a background in Building Services.
