job description

My client, a 5 star award winning housing developer are keen to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious person who will be managing existing and new projects across Bedfordshire

You will have the direct responsibility for successfully leading projects in collaborating with all disciplines within the business.

Main Duties include



* Report regularly to the Board and/or Construction Director on project performance. ·
* Achieve the agreed net profit for responsible Contracts.
* Achieve together with the Quantity Surveyor, the agreed cash-flow for Contracts through achieving the programme's time targets.
* Contribute information for inclusion within tender submissions and attend tender adjudications.
* Understand and deliver contracts within the agreed contract conditions.
* Sustain the Company's reputation with its existing client base.
* Recognise and develop business growth opportunities with both existing and new clients
* Ensure that the management of the various processes involved in running the Contracts comply with all Westridge internal and external policies and procedures.
* Use processes and procedures to drive continuous improvement across the Contracts.
* Share and develop "best practice" through the Company.
* Consider and develop innovation.
