job description

We currently require a permanent Contracts Manager to work with a Regional based civils contractor, who holds an excellent reputation in the local region. If you are an experienced Contracts Manager or a Senior Contracts Manager this could be the perfect fit for you.

This contractor deal with water, foul sewage, structures, steel frames and concrete and therefor it would be advantageous if you have experience working on water treatment projects as a Contracts Manager.


* Degree/ HND qualified
* Ability to work within budget to tight time fames
* Management of 3 - 4 projects
* Responsible for site team and to ensure effecting management of sub-contractors
* Program management
* To attend client meetings
* Responsible for creating Health and Safety plans
* Motivating and inspiring the team
* Responsible for dealing with any related issues
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Following all projects through all stages from start to hand over through to final accounts

Desirable Skills

* Three years experience managing own projects for a civil engineering contractor as a Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager


£50,000 - £60,000, plus competitive benefits package - including car / car allowance. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
