Randstad are extremely excited to announce that we are looking for an enthusiastic cover supervisor to work across numerous secondary schools in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Brentwood - the cover supervisor role requires no experience, but it would be a bonus if you have any!

Requirements of a cover supervisor:

• A cover supervisor will be open to work with numerous secondary schools in the local area
• A cover supervisor will be required to support pupils with queries about the work set
• A cover supervisor will be proactive and keep busy throughout the day
• A cover supervisor will supervise classes of pupils in the absence of the usual teacher, distribute work and ensure the classes are behaving appropriately to ensure a positive learning environment
• A cover supervisor will use the behaviour management policy to adequately manage student behaviour
• A cover supervisor will be flexible with their job role throughout the day
• A cover supervisor will have excellent time management skills

To be considered for the role of a cover supervisor:

• DBS (on the update service)
• Ideally degree educated
• Experience is not essential - but a bonus!
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• 2 satisfactory references must be provided
• Proof of Address
• Overseas Police Check will be required if you have been outside of the UK for a period longer than 6 months in the past 5 years
