This is an excellent 1-term opportunity within a mixed gender public secondary school for ages 11-18, who are seeking a cover supervisor with fantastic behaviour management skills and an ability to connect with the children. The school is located just off the M23 and is within walking distance of Crawley train station. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supervising classes who have pre-planned work to complete
* Using your initiative to support slow learners and challenge stronger learners
* Managing classroom behaviour
* Ensuring the safety of children and adhering to safeguarding procedures
* Supporting with other duties such as lunchtime duty and admin tasks

Key requirements for the position include:
* A clear and up-to-date DBS check
* Previous experience of working with children (essential)
* Experience of working with secondary-aged children (desirable)
* Experience of managing a classroom is (desirable)
* GCSE grades of C or above in English and Maths
