A mixed gender 'good' (as rated by Ofsted) public secondary school and sixth form for ages 11-18 is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their department and become a part of their way of life. The school is within 20 minutes walk of the nearest train station which has excellent connections to Brighton, London and Horsham. It's also easily accessible by car being located close to the M23 and with parking on-site. Your responsibilities will include:

* Supervision of classes who have pre-planned work to complete
* Using initiative to support slow learners and challenge stronger learners
* Managing classroom behaviour
* Ensuring the safety and safeguarding of children
* Supporting with other duties such as lunchtime duty and admin tasks

Key requirements for the position include:

* You will need a clear and up-to-date DBS check
* Previous experience of working with children is beneficial but not essential to be considered
* A minimum of C grade English and Maths GCSE
* It would be advantageous to be qualified to degree level
