These roles are vastly beneficial and a great platform for anyone that is considering working in education and wants to gain some paid experience prior to starting a PGCE or a considering a schools direct course.

Responsibilities:



* Supervising work that has been set by a teacher
* Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking their work
* Responding to any questions from pupils
* Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures

Requirements:



* The ability to establish rapport within a classroom whilst maintaining a high standard of control and discipline
* Good time management
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexibility

Additional Information:

You must live in the Manchester area and be able to commute across Manchester on a daily basis (sometimes at short notice too!)

If you don't have experience working with children and young people but you are still interested in working within this environment then you will be required to attend a full days training course which will take place in our Manchester city centre office.
