Customer Service Representative

Newcastle Upon Tyne

£17,000 - £19,000

ABOUT YOU



* Previous FACE - FACE Customer Services experience is essential and a drive and commitment towards continuous improvement.
* The prospective candidate must have previous experience of Customer Services roles; excellent customer service skills and demonstrate excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
* Must be enthusiastic, conscientious, capable of being self-motivated and work effectively as a team player and must be computer literate (word, excel, outlook email).
* Candidate must be proactive and able to work automatously. Quality and accuracy of work is paramount (get it right first time).
* Ideal candidate will be open to new methods of working, always looking to improve and streamline processes and procedures, driving efficiency within business need. Reliable and consistent, be helpful and have a positive attitude.
* Physical appearance is respectable and professional.

ABOUT THE JOB



* Provide an exceptional welcome to all visitors and staff on arrival and provide exceptional customer service always.
* To ensure the smooth running of day to day operation in designated building(s).
* To improve customer engagement in all areas.
* To ensure a safe working environment for all floor occupants.
* Setting and maintaining high standards so that customers' expectations are consistently exceeded.
* Resolution of any logistical issues and escalation to appropriate persons.
* To work within the customer service team providing support and training for other members of the team and new starters.
* Uphold the vision and values of the company and client in all actions and behaviours.
* Maintain the client expectations across both local sites

* Supporting the local office operations team, as necessary.

DAILY DUTIES



* To complete weekly stock takes of consumables and stationery. Completing orders and liaising with the supplier directly, ensuring the ordering lifecycle is efficiently managed.
* Ensure all consumables and stationery are replenished daily.
* Ensure that all notice boards are read regularly and checked for new / updated information.
* Must complete fire warden duties, including fire coordinator in the event of an evacuation. This includes being first aid trained.
* Monitor meeting room's through-out the day, ensuring they are kept clean and tidy.
* Updating NDC SharePoint daily with updated spreadsheets.
* Arranging transport for clients as and when required.
* Conduct H&S Inductions on a weekly basis or more frequently dependent upon influx of new starters.
* Create, update and maintain contractor folders.
* Conduct regular floor walks reporting any faults, cleaning issues through the appropriate channels
* Carry out census count as per client's schedule and submission of results
* Café set ups for Events as and when required
* Receiving Mail & distribution, booking in external couriers
* Assisting with desk moves, following client requests and relocation information
