Customer Service Advisor


About the role
As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing world class customer service.
This will include undertaking all relevant customer interactions and the accurate capture of customer data. You will advise customers of the best services available to them and use your initiative to problem solve queries and resolve customer complaints. Comprehensive training and ongoing support is provided to ensure you offer the best advice and support to our customers, making certain their needs are fulfilled and their expectations exceeded.
Working within a great team you will contribute to the overall performance of the department,
achieving and maintaining departmental targets as well as your own personal goals.

Hours of work

40 hours per week, worked on 5 week rotating shift pattern:

07:00-16:00
08:00-17:00
08:30-17:30
09:00-18:00
11:00-20:00
Shift patterns are issued with 3 months' notice, which are then subject to a 2 week confirmation in
advance of a shift commencing.

Requirement to work 2 Saturdays and 1 Sunday in every 5 week rotation (time will be given back
during the week).

Saturday hours are 08:00-17:00, with Sunday hours 09:00-12:00

Remuneration and benefits

Initially the rate of pay will be £8.95 per hour, increasing to £9.85 after 12 weeks.

Annual leave entitlement is an initial 28 days per year, increasing to 33 days (including bank holidays)
after 12 weeks.

The ideal candidate
Previous experience as a Customer Service Advisor is preferable / experience working within a
contact centre environment.
IT proficient with a good standard of literacy and numeracy, with GCSE grade C or above in English
and Maths
Excellent attendance record and punctuality
Quick thinker with the ability to problem solve/use own initiative
Personable, capable of forging strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike
Enjoys working in a fast paced and at times pressured environment
