job description

Randstad are working with a Nationally successful Housing Association who are wanting to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager. This is a temporary contact ongoing for a minimum of a few months.

Your Package

- Monday - Friday
- Full time hours (37)

Your Responsibilities



* Contributing to the effective management and performance of the Association through managing a variety of accounts and Centre activities
* Contribute to achieving target on rent arrears, rent collected and other KPI's
* Effectively manage a patch of rent accounts including current or former tenants in arrears
* Advising on payment method options and promoting direct debits
* To manage court cost accounts, recharges, and any other type of accounts or collections
* To make robust and timely decisions on arrears actions up to eviction stage and to make recommendations on eviction action and complete EV01s
* To maximize HB, UC payments and Supporting People payments
* Calculating complex HB entitlements
* Interpreting HB regulations and appropriately challenging HB/UC decisions

Your Skills and Experience



* Competent at resolving and advising on issues
* In depth specialist knowledge on debt recovery and welfare benefits particularly housing benefit and universal credit
* Knowledge of the Possession Claim Online and Money Claim Online processes and legal recovery and enforcement
* Worked previously as an Accounts Manager
