Our residential home facilitates 6 children with emotional behaviour difficulties and is set in the beautiful Surrey countryside near Kingston Upon Thames. As a privately owned organisation, we take pride in providing high-quality care and positive outcomes for our children, who are between 8 - 17 years old. As a specialist Deputy Manager, you'll be in charge of a team of high performing, motivated individuals.

Responsibilities:



* Think outside the box - be a leader who inspires and creates positivity
* Bring new ideas to the service - we're working with children, their families and multidisciplinary teams so understanding an ever-changing environment and keeping up by introducing fresh ideas is key
* Supporting the staff team in their progression, development and training
* Deputising in the absence of the Home Manager and adhering to care quality standards as set out by OFSTED

Required:



* Full time - rota is Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm for the most part
* Shifts, sleep-ins and weekends will be required in accordance to home requirements
* NVQ L3 or L5
* Experience as a Deputy Manager in a children's home 1-2 years
