    Project Engineer

    Randstad Engineering is currently recruiting a Project Engineer for Tata Steel in Port Talbot

    The position is paying between £45,000 and £52,000 per annum on a 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will be required to work Monday - Friday day shifts. (36.5 hours per week).

    The Role

    Within the role you will be working on one of the largest electrical networks within Wales.you will be assessing existing infrastructure and modeling to ensure existing systems are still fit for purpose and safe for continued operations.

    Full studies will include but not limited to ; power data logger reviews, load flow studies, power quality studies, protection coordination studies, arc flash assessments, design review to BS7671, infrastructure improvement, design consultancy, new installation design services, technical specification documents and audit documents.

    The Ideal Candidate will have -

    • Experience with software packages such as Electrical OM (not essential as training will be provided)
    • Lighting & Emergency Lighting specification and design
    • Experience in LV industrial EICR reports
    • Come from a electrical time served background or qualified by education
    • Arc flash assessments/studies (not essential as training will be provided)
