Are you a Design Manager? Looking for a new role? Have experience with residential projects?

Randstad are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to work in Bristol on a £28m residential scheme. You will oversee the Design Consultants and the delivery of the design. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with Tier 1 contractors.

Responsibilities;

- Identify design requirements for the bid from the clients brief.

- Realising design opportunities and mitigating the risks to ensure bid winning solutions or projects can be delivered.

- Develop and compile the design proposals.

- Select and assess the design team and agree schedule of responsibilities.

- Be responsible for developing the design programme with consultants and planner for bids or projects.

Experience and qualifications;

- Maintain working knowledge of industry standards.

- Ability to influence the design, without designing.

- Good understanding of BIM.

- Substantial experience in this or a similar role.

- Ideally bachelor degree qualified or above.

- Holding the relevant chartered membership, or working towards such.

- CSCS card and driving licence will be required.
