Are you an experienced Design Manager looking for a new exciting opportunity to be based in the North East of England? The client we are currently working with is a fast growing regional contractor, with plans to add an additional 5 sites to their current product portfolio.

We are currently looking for a Design Manager to control and coordination all technical information between external and internal departments.

Package & Benefits:

£40,000 - £50,000

£5,000 Car allowance



Internal progression


Key responsibilities:

*Build relationships and develop integration between the client/ design/ project teams, planning, conservation, building control authorities and the supply chain

*Liaising with external and internal consultants

*Collating all drawings

*To drive the design elements of projects

*Monitoring the whole design process within the project

*Good planning knowledge

*Co-ordinate the design teams and challenges each decision to create the most cost effective design solutions

*Explore innovative design solutions investigate best value techniques and promote sustainability

What we are looking for:

*Working knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering design

*Commercial and contractual awareness

*Team and line management skills/ experience

*Excellent communication skulls

*Strong customer focus

*Experience with Auto CAD software would be an advantage
