The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for the constant improvement and maintenance of the company's evolving website and digital marketing capability and technology landscape. The role is one of the the main interface point between the wider marketing organisation and the DMO team, and is required to offer expert advice, consultation and support at a strategic level, as well as on a day to day business as usual level.

To carry out this role successfully, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

* Day to day website management including CMS content upload and amends.
* Uploading and maintaining product information pages, case studies, news articles and files on the company's Content Management System (CMS) OpenText WEM.
* Point of contact and management of company DNS and SSL management platforms
* Owner of corporate Analytics, Google Tag Manager, AdWords, Business and Search Console accounts.
* Owner of corporate Zendesk Chat account
* Providing administrative support to the Head of Digital Marketing when needed
* Provide input
* Compiling weekly, monthly and ad hoc analysis and reports on digital activity
* Adhering to deadline and campaign launches


Must Haves:

* CMS experience
* Google Analytics
* Google Tag Manager
* Google AdWords

Good understanding of:

* SSL account management
* DNS account management
* Website design and build process
* Understanding of eCommerce principles

Personal Specification

Previous experience working with website content management systems (CMS) - knowledge of Opentext and Acquia preferred.

* The role holder will have experience of B2B digital marketing either in-house or agency
* The individual will have demonstrable knowledge of using Google AdWords to good effect.
* The post holder will have provided analytical support and will experienced in using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
* They must be able to develop and enforce processes designed to facilitate the smooth running of digital marketing activity.
* Strong use of Microsoft Office software including Powerpoint.
* Competency in DNS management (Registration, record changing and redirection)
* Competency In management of SSL certificate procurement process.
* Knowledge of managing Livechat account as administrator
* Knowledge of Marketing Automation Systems and ability to communicate ideas on the subject.
* Knowledge of website design process and ability to communicate ideas on the subject.
* Comfortable being the focal point for website content amends, dealing with non-digital-savvy marketers.
* Confidence to enforce web compliance processes to ensure the brand is represented effectively and consistently, and that digital content conforms to agreed standards.
* Ability to balance multiple priorities and be able to prioritise tasks and manage stakeholders.
* Excellent spelling and grammar and keen attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to communicate ideas in a clear, concise manner.
* Strong team worker capable of interfacing with various internal stakeholders and suppliers.
* Strong focus on efficient delivery.
* Fluent English is a prerequisite.
* Ability to effectively communicate ideas in a face to face presentation environment
* The job holder must be willing to undertake occasional travel to other locations in the UK and possibly The Netherlands.
