Before applying - please read the following;



* The work is on a shift basis, working between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm. The building is open 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Please do not move forward if you cannot be flexible with shifts.
* Volunteers will be asked to work major Bank Holidays such as Christmas it's usually 1 in 3 of the main days Christmas day, boxing day, new years day but you are rewarded with double pay (oooo) These usually fill up quickly and you can work all 3 if you want to earn £20+ for 21 hours get in early!
* At present we don't know what your shifts will be but these are usually confirmed ahead of time (4 weeks) so you have plenty of time to plan around them.

Role Purpose:

In this role, you would be tasked with planning work for a number of engineers. The engineers cover all types of services such as radiators/leaks, service only for boilers and kitchen appliances but the majority will be breakdown engineers. You would plan in any work giving priority to vulnerable people and emergency situations.

This role is pivotal to deliver the new planning strategy and gain more control of workload management. The dispatcher will monitor our SLAs and manage all reactive works, ensuring we meet customers' demands. The dispatcher will be responsible for any day to day issues and will ensure engineers are utilised effectively and productively to deliver an excellent customer service.

What you'll need:



* Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Excellent administrative and clerical skills
* Wicked organisation
* A friendly and bubbly personality
* A drive to do well
* Knowledge of the electric and gas sector would be advantageous
* Experience in both inbound and outbound calls
