job description

Document Controller - Permanent Role - West London

We are currently looking for a Document Controller to join a leading rail, civil engineering and construction contractor. You will be joining a brand new £20-30m project based in West London working on a station refurbishment.

This is a permanent position to start ASAP on a project that expects to run for a couple of years.

You will be joining as a sole document controller and will have some document control support from the administration team. You will report directly to the project manager and work closely to the project team, liaising with the planning and design teams.

Hours are 8am to 5pm

Salary is dependent on experience and will vary between £30-35k + package

As a document controller you will be responsible for:



* Providing a document control service to the project team as well as other sub contractors on the project
* Maintain document control registers with correct storage of hard and soft copies of all documents
* Control information flows with external suppliers in accordance with document control requirements.
* Maintaining effective control of all project documentation to the required standards and following the correct project
* Manage documentation using eB document control system

Your experience will include:



* Experience of document control within a rail or civil engineering project
* Advanced use of Microsoft packages including Microsoft Excel
