Document Controller
Leicester
£27,500 - £30,000 plus package
We are looking for a Document Controller to work within a Leicester based main contractor covering a number of core sector projects in the East Midlands.
This role of Document Controller is to provide a support service to the project teams by ensuring that project design information, documentation, forms, snagging and defects is captured and stored in a methodical manner within Viewpoint for Projects and Viewpoint Field View ensuring accessibility for site teams.
Required experience and qualifications for the role of Document Controller include:
Fully conversant with the Microsoft suite of packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other desktop publishing software packages.
Knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint for Projects is essential.
Knowledge and experience of using Viewpoint Field View is essential.
Relevant degree and/or experience of working in information management or related field.Knowledge and/or experience of the Document Control Process at operational level.
Willingness to undertake relevant professional qualifications.
Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A highly organised approach to work.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
The ability to effectively and proactively co-ordinate multiple activities under pressure.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work and communicate with all members of the site team and the wideEmpr team if required.
The ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Aptitude to learn new software and technology tools quickly.
