I am currently recruiting for a Food Technology Teacher to work in a well established secondary school in the Chorley area. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic teachers to take on this temporary long-term contract which is due to start in January 2019.

This secondary school is looking for someone who can teach from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4 and is experienced at teaching GCSE Food. Being familiar/experienced with Eduqas GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition Specification would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:
* Managing the behaviour of the children and ensuring they are on task.
* Teaching engaging Food Technology lessons across KS3 to KS4.
* Motivated to teach a demanding timetable at GCSE/KS3
* Working with other teaching professionals to share methods of best practice.

Requirements:
* Hold QTS (Teacher qualified as opposed to Food TA or Food Technician).
* Have excellent communication skills and a ability to manage and control classroom behaviour.
* An enthusiastic attitude towards working with young people.
* A minimum of 2 references covering a 6 month period in the last 12 months.
