An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join a leading and highly respected M&E Building Services contractor. Would you be interested in working with a larger team and contractor where there is a solid Estimating team and supporting functions to enable you to do your job effectively? I'm currently working with a company that can offer a great company culture, benefits, training and variety of work.Their typical projects range from £2million to £30million within a variety of sectors including Commercial Shell & Core and Data Centres. Due to expansion they are now looking to bring in an additional Electrical Estimator into the business to assist and lead new projects. Experience working for a top 10 Contractor is required along with experience tendering on projects valued over £10million.
Typical duties that will be included within the role but not limited to:
- Prepare tenders
- Breakdown client enquiries
- Measure/Assess quantities and prepare schedules if required
- Prepare detailed estimates
- Support and help implement the company growth strategy
- Tender presentations
Key skills needed
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator
- Proven and stable career track record
- Good communication and negotiating skills
- Confident use of Microsoft Office as well as estimating programs
- Relevant Qualifications
