Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: West Yorkshire

Salary: £30,420

Call Out: ¼ - £70 for the first 3 Hours - Normal rate after

Call out Rates: 4:30pm - Midnight 1.5x Midnight onwards and weekends 2.0x

Call Out: Covering the East Cost as far as Scarborough on social housing contracts - rare

Contracts: West Yorkshire Police & Leeds University

Standard Hours: 8am - 4.30 Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3.30pm on Friday. After 4.30pm

Overall Objective

To undertake planned and reactive maintenance of electrical works to a diverse client base, working in and around new build, existing occupied, public sector, social housing and refurbished properties.

Key Accountabilities

* Identify electrical faults and repair as required.
* Install new electrical installations to the standards within the 17th Edition of IEE wiring regulations.
* Work independently, as well as part of a team.
* Undertake works to a high standard on a first time fix basis where possible.
* Ensure exceptional levels of customer care.
* Provide information to the office to allow estimates to be submitted for works outside of client budgets.
* Bring additional trade skills or be willing to up skill where appropriate.
* Submission of daily and weekly paperwork accurately and on time.

Experience and Qualifications

* Full Electrical Apprenticeship including City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & Part 2 or NVQ level 3 (essential).
* 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 (essential).
* City & Guilds 2391 or 2394 &2395 electrical Inspection and Testing (essential).
* At least 2 years' maintenance experience.
* Multi skilled - preferable.
