My Client:

My client is a world leader in Construction and Commercial Facilities Management Servies. They deliver Utility Maintenance and Asset Enhancement services in Water, Gas Power, HVAC Electrical, Telecommunications and Soft Services across the UK.

Their core services include clean and waste water improvements, M&E design and maintenance, Inspection and Multi-Utility Services.

Their property arm of the business is on the of UK's leading developers with a commercial portfiolio including industrial, retail, leisure and mixed-use schemes. Their mission is to be the development and investment partner of choice.

Role: Mobile M&E Manager

Location: Mobile within Leeds, Manchester, York - Occasional travel to Duxford

Contract: Commercial Offices, Council Contracts, Museum Contracts

Salary: £35,000 + Vehicle

Supervision: 8 Engineers

Role Purpose:

Ensure the delivery of hard service tasks to meet defined standards and customer

service requirements at prescribed levels of quality and productivity


Supervision: Ensure that staff and sub contractors are deployed, trained and fully capable of carrying

out defined activities, work and tasks to the required levels of quality and productivity

Ensure that defined work schedules are carried out and completed to meet customer

service requirements

Records: Complete accurate and auditable records of work in either electronic form or paper as

the job dictates.

Costs: Ensure that all work is carried out to meet all appropriate cost requirements and that all

shortages are duly reported such that re order is made to meet usage requirements

To service supervisor and customer, status of project or work, including problems

and issues, performance and condition such that both are full aware of progress

Equipment: Ensure that all tools, PPE, vehicles fluids and other items used during the course

QHSE: Ensure full adherence to relevant health, safety, quality and environment legislation,

convention and business standards in order to achieve best practice within industry

Problem Solving: Where appropriate analyse and understand complex technical or contract issues,

diagnose and provide solutions so as to maximise performance

Standard Accountabilities & Responsibilities


Ensure safe working consistent with business and legislative QHSE policy, identify areas of non

compliance are reported and including affect remedial action where

Compliance Requirements:

Has been trained and understand the processesand procedures set out in the job. Is able to follow instructions and apply knowledge to a range of situations, and to address and resolve job related

problems and issues

Technical Qualifications:

Qualifications to demonstrate an understanding o how to apply knowledge to a range of situations, how to resolve and solve problems using knowledge and involving judgements. Preferably a hard services background in Electrical, HVAC or Gas.

Context Qualifications

This role can have either an engineer or a service manager focus. Engineer; the requirement is to apply skilled & technical know how to a range of different situations. The role requires previous experience and makes judgements in order to solve technical problems & to ensure successful completion of work

Must be able to use all tools, fluids and equipment required in the job and be aware of relevant

procedures and QHSE working procedures

Must be able to complete relevant paperwork and schedules.
