job description

Our client is looking for an electrical or multi skilled site engineer to maintain the building's equipment and systems keeping them in prime condition and optimum working efficiency. In addition to this you will also need to respond effectively to all defects and engineering requests in a timely manner.

Other aspects of the role will include:



* Maintaining the buildings mechanical and electrical systems
* Routines tests, checks and record keeping for all systems
* Maintaining water systems in accordance with legislations
* Monitoring the buildings environment temperature/ humidity and space conditions adjusting when necessary to the client's requirements
* Oversee the building management systems ensuring that HVAC are set to optimal levels of efficiency
* Provide solutions to improve the building, plant and system energy efficiency
* Keep the site supervisor briefed on all issues and progress and managing defects to completion by investigating fully to sourcing materials and raising purchase orders to rectification
* Manage and rectify defects to completion

The ideal candidate will come from a strong technical skilled background, along with knowledge of the BMS systems. Electrical or Multi Skilled experience is wanted for this role as well as Engineering qualifications such as City & Guilds, HNC etc.

Administration and computer literate experience is also necessary for this role.
