Engineering Change Coordinator required on a contract basis to join an industry leading engineering and manufacturing business.

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity at the forefront of off highway machine technology? Do you want to work in a fast paced Engineering / Manufacturing environment? If you are seeking an exciting technical challenge then this is the role for you!

As the Engineering Change Coordinator you will co-ordinate the implementation of Engineering Changes, driving for fast and effective introductions. The postholder will support all stages of the ECO process for standard and New Product Process Development (NPPD) driven changes.

Key responsibilities:



* Co-ordinate change requests by evaluating all Engineering Change Requests, validating information, and circulating to the relevant approvers via in house system.
* Co-ordinate change orders by evaluating all Engineering Change Orders and communicating to all departmental representatives with a clear summary of expected requirements and request for full evaluation. Consolidate all received evaluations to establish individual time line for each ECO, and assess viability.
* Lead change control meetings to track and document progress of ECOs against cost and timing targets.
* Maintain tracking documentation/systems, and monitor progress against KPIs.
* Coach departmental representatives on best practise with regards to the ECO process.
* Based on the priority listing, work with all departments involved in the process to close ECOs as efficiently as possible. This will involve pushing ECOs at each stage, and supporting all department representatives as required.
* Carry out Fusion (Orical Business System) administration tasks associated with ECO implementation / closure.
* Use authoring software to create and distribute ECO brochure for circulation.
* Provide administrator level support for the Q-pulse system, and provide monthly performance summary. Support and manage the development of Q-pulse for use in the full ECO process.
* BOM maintenance in ERP system

Experience required:



* Degree level qualification in engineering / automotive or related experience in a similar role
* Passion for engineering and problem solving
* Ability to read Technical Engineering Drawings
* Good standard of MS Office skills
* Ability to analyse data and draw relevant conclusions
* Ability to organise, plan and document tasks
* Strong oral & written communication skills
* Problem investigation and resolution skills and techniques.
* Ability to work independently
* Ability to travel internationally as and when required
* Ability to remain composed during tough times
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of BOM structures and cost roll up
* Understanding of the NPPD process
* Understanding of technical documentation.
* Experience in Oracle Fusion would be highly desirable.
