We have an exciting vacancy coming up for an outstanding and well known school in the heart of Leeds. This school prides itself on its reputation and is looking for a great teacher to make a big impact on the English department and work closely along side the Head of department to make real changes and progression. The school is looking for someone who wants to grow and develop their role and are looking for definite progression opportunities. The position will be a full time teaching timetable and you will be expected to plan prepare and deliver the curriculum to all year groups across KS3 & 4 teaching a variety of abilities.
The right candidate must have -
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
- The aptitude to nurture learners, encourage and stimulate young people
- Excellent behaviour management skills and classroom control
- Passion for teaching and education and learning.
The English Department provides a stimulating, well-balanced and inclusive curriculum which is designed to allow all pupils to maximise their potential. Lessons involve a wide variety of learning styles employed by a highly professional and hard-working team of teachers. The school recognises the importance of literacy to all its pupils and they make it their goal to make sure that all our pupils are given the chance to succeed.
