Are you a skilled Estimator looking to make a difference in high-stakes construction projects? Our client, a leader in the industry, is searching for an Estimator to join their team, working on competitive tenders, PQQs, and high-profile pitches that shape the future of their business.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive estimates for tenders, PQQs, ITTs, and proposals, collaborating closely with marketing and business development teams.
- Create, manage, and monitor budgets, providing accurate costings and proposals.
- Ensure smooth handover of budgets to the commercial department and maintain all project data on the internal systems.
- Oversee value engineering and ensure compliance and competitiveness in all tenders.
Key Tasks:
- Compile competitive and compliant tenders within set deadlines.
- Manage pre- and post-handover budgets, ensuring accuracy in all budget-related documentation.
- Track tender progress, noting conversions to the next stage or project closure.
- Update and maintain records of subcontractors, suppliers, and clients in internal systems.
- Attend regular estimating and handover meetings, ensuring all information is recorded accurately.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and ordering teams to ensure precise pricing for materials and labor.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers as required to ensure project alignment.
Requirements:
- Hold a CSCS Basic Card.
- Strong program and project management skills, with experience in creating initial project programs for handover.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, and competence in MS Word, MS Project, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with project management tools, particularly Lawtech Web/Project Probe.
