The RolePreparations of estimates and quotationsPreparation of tender submission lettersTo Attend client visits and make after care callsEnsuring that tender lists are updated regularly, ensuring that cost of labour, plant and materials is outlinedAttend pre and post contract interviewPreparing specifications and enquiries for material, plant and sub-contract procurementPrepare documents and information for site teamsProduce tender reportsMeasure from drawingsTo produce bills of quantities Produce cost plans
About youExperience in Main Contractor estimating Understanding the different methods of measuringTechnical skills in organising, planning and prioritisingUse of "causeway" for estimating, budgeting and Cash flow forecastsGood understanding of Risk Assessments, health and safety and Environmental LegislationExcellent communication skillsComputer literacy experience in "causeway" or a similar estimating packageAble to create relationships with customers, clients, supply chains and internal departments, to ensure that you understand their needs to then be able to deliverCustomer focusTime management
