We enable our clients to profitably exceed customer expectations by taking on the complexity of their Omnichannel retail business and transforming it into a seamlessly orchestrated customer experience.


You will lead a team of 2, working with key stakeholders within HR and external benefits companies, whilst contributing to the development and improvement of the payroll and benefits service for our European operations.

* Managing payroll compliance for each country across the region, managing statutory regulation changes whilst adhering to internal payroll policies
* Oversee all benefits provided across the business, working with the vendors on contract negotiations and internally promoting the benefits to employees
* Manage pension plans
* Supervise, coach and develop your team
* Ensure effective, timely and accurate responses to any payroll issues and queries by ensuring company best practice is followed on all occasions
* Manage all internal and external payroll audits
* Oversee the development of statutory payroll processes by challenging existing practices and making suggestions for improvement
* Build a strong and collaborative relationship with HR and the accounting department
* Manage vendor relationships
* Develop and implement with vendor support, new payrolls as the business expands across Europe


We are seeking someone with fantastic time management abilities, with a hands-on approach, and with advanced Excel skills.

* Excellent understanding and experience of managing payroll procedures and relevant legislation across Europe.
* Experience of managing benefits across Europe
* Highly organized, meticulous about detail and accuracy and get excited about process improvement
* Strong leadership skills
* Strong ability to independently make prudent, well- informed decisions and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
* Great at multitasking and work well with fast-changing priorities. You can juggle (not literally but that skill is welcome too!) multiple projects and tasks at the same time without losing focus.
* Outstanding communication skills and thrive on building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Desired but no essential:

* Speak English and a 2nd European language
* Exposure of Workday HR experience
* Payroll qualification

The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for the delivery of 5 outsourced payroll services for the group throughout Europe and China, circa 650 employees, with this expected to expand to 2 additional countries this year.
