Are you available to support this year's secondary school examinations?

Do you have a passion for education and an eye for detail?

Are you keen to be part of a team where you can contribute to the success of the department?

If the answer is YES then a role as Secondary School Exam Invigilator might be worth considering!

This May & June Randstad's partnership secondary schools in the Preston area are looking to recruit highly committed Exam Invigilators to ensure that exams are carried out per the rules set down.

Working hours often include a 7.30am start and occasionally finish as late as 4:00pm. Part day assignments are also available.


Assist with setting-up examination venues with all the appropriate resources

Invigilate during exams assisting with any queries which may occur

Invigilate the examination, including dealing with examination irregularities;

Have outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

Ensure exam conditions are maintained until candidates are dismissed

Maintain candidate attendance and absence records

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding procedures

To work under the overall guidance of the Exams/Data Manager staff but you may also be expected to invigilate without supervision
